There are many fine schools in New Mexico. The crown jewel is the University of New Mexico that has been cooperating with the US Government for decades on engineering innovations and experimentation. There are several MASSAGE SCHOOLS in the central/northern part of the state, an area of great natural beauty featuring a rural lifestyle lending itself to relaxed living. The natural healing schools and relaxed attitudes hark back to the Native American influence of living in harmony with nature.

The schools for the deaf and blind have long histories of service to these handicapped populations and are fully acknowledged in the academic community for their curriculums. Both schools are residential schools for daily activities of living training. For more information about public schools (K12) throughout the state check out the State Dept. of Education website.
